Tony Granger – Managing Director

Operations and Implementation
Tony Granger is Managing Director of Mentor Financial Services Limited. He has been a Business, Financial and Tax Advisor to private clients, business owners, public companies and financial institutions. He recently sold his financial planning business to focus on new innovative products and services, including the Employer Subsidised Mortgage arrangement for Employers (ESM), and bringing them to market. Tony originates from South Africa where he was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Africa as an Advocate. He later became Legal Advisor and then Managing Director of Corporate Executive Services Ltd within Old Mutual PLC, the largest South African insurance company. There he developed new employee benefits as well as a legal and financial planning sales force and was one of the early pioneers of fee-based financial services on the African continent. He has successfully grown or been part of the growth team of a number of companies, some of which have listed on the stock exchange. He is past President of the Financial Planning Institute in South Africa, and President of the Insurance Institute of Shropshire and Mid Wales. He is visiting professor at London Guildhall Business and Law School, and a Freeman of the City of London. Tony is the author of 20 books on finance, financial planning short stories and hehas written for Tax Insider on current financial planning and tax issues.
